Discover Dinosaurs at Brookgreen Gardens

Running daily from now until April 27th, the "Dinosaurs!" exhibit at Brookgreen Gardens showcases seventeen different animatronic creatures to discover, including stegosaurus, triceratops, utahraptor, megalosaurus and tyrannosaurus rex.

Each incredibly detailed dino contains sensors that control the eyes, tail, arms and head to interact with guests as they explore the exhibit space. Fascinating information and facts about each of these ancient species are available to learn about these incredible animals.

In addition to the animatronic beasts on display, kids can visit the paleontological dig site within the exhibit. Here, a recreation of a fossil excavation site is ready to reveal the secrets of the past as kids are able to use tools available to unearth "fossils" from the area. Also, in the indoor area of the Dinosaurs! exhibit, kids can take part in a dinosaur "dissection," with volunteers helping them to "dissect" non-latex dino parts. There are also make-and-take dino crafts that kids will be able to assemble and take as a souvenir of the exhibit.
