Halloween Celebrations Along the Grand Strand

Don't look now, but Halloween is just around the corner! This spooky, fun-filled holiday comes to life in Myrtle Beach, where area events bring locals and visitors together for some frightfully thrilling celebrations! • Halloween on the Marshwalk
  
  Make your way down to Murrells Inlet for an evening of thrills and chills on the MarshWalk. Peppered with a variety of shops and restaurants, and situated along the picturesque waterfront, the MarshWalk is the best place to spend Halloween on the south end of the Grand Strand. Bring the kids out for trick-or-treating at 5pm, followed by a costume contest, where prizes will be awarded for the scariest, funniest, and most creative Halloween costumes. Don't worry adults, Halloween on the MarshWalk is not just for kids. Stick around until later for the adult costume contest, which will award more than $2,500 in cash and prizes to the top three costumes.   Broadway at the Beach is known for its sprawling district of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, but on Halloween, things go up a notch, with door-to-door trick-or-treating from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at all of your favorite stores! Keep your eyes peeled for the best costumes as you stroll throughout the area. Be sure to stick around for an extra-special fireworks extravaganza, which takes place over the lake in the center of Broadway!
  


• Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
  
  Head over to the Boardwalk area in the heart of Myrtle Beach for a Halloween filled with things that go "Boo" in the night! Start off with a slight scare at the Nightmare Haunted House, found right on the boulevard! Walk a little further down the strip to encounter Ripley's Haunted Adventure, where you'll be taken through a maze of terrors and spine-tingling sights and sounds, which are sure to get your heart racing! Stay vigilant as you watch out for zombies strolling along Ocean Boulevard on this scariest (and most fun!) night of the year!
